20 Years ago, I decided to gonna write with Native Americans, who are in jail. I was and still am, very interest in Native American Culture, their spirituals ways, and there is one thing in life I realy hate, and that is discrimination, injustice, and many many wurse things, that happend to differend cultures. I am born Catholic, but I had also my doubts, if the way, that Christianity was brought to differend cultures, was done in a right way, and believe me, Natives believe also in a God, and in their creater, but the things on school, that was happend, the things with the white intruders, can you imagine, what it is, to try to speak your own language, that adults force you to speak english, when you don't, you had to sit in the hall of the school, for the rest of the day, with a soap in your mouth, to clean the own language, that is yours, away.
That is only one, of the smallest things that gould happend, wurse we all know, think about Wounded Knee, think about history, that is why I love the sery Into the West from Steven Spielberg!! Well, we all can make mistakes in life, specialy when we live in poorness, with discrimination, no jobs, than the young ones got in trouble, alcohol, drugs, the most of the Native prisoners are in jail of that, and believe me, the sentences are more harder and longer, than in Europe. If you wanna see what Justice is in America, than read the story of Leonard Peltier : http://www.freepeltier.com

You also can watch the movie, about this case, "Incident at Oglala, produced by Robert Redford.

In the years, with my correspondence, with the Native American Inmates, I got more and more questions from Native Inmates, so search for someone, who wanted to write with them. I gould not all write them, I tried, but as a single mother, had to work fulltime, there was not much time left for that, I tried to send postcards, to as many as possible, realise, that a few words, can bring already some sunshine behind those dark walls. So I was thinking of a better way to do, and than I maded this MSN group, in time I got more and more members and now there are about 100 members/friends, that all write with Native Friends.
Beside the correspondence, we trie to keep in touch, visiting the Pow Wow in Holland, and in the group, you can find a lot more, than other members, A lot of images, Wallpapers, animations, tags, and colouring pages for the kids.

So,,, if you like this idea, to start a correspondence, or just wanna watch and visit my group, than you are more than welcome.

My Adult Huskies

The husky in my arms is Nanook, the mother of the new born puppies, and all is going well, she is a terrific mother, and she takes care of all of the 8 puppies.
we decided to keep 2 puppies, 1 male and one female, still thinking about names,

This is Kusja, I got her, from a Turkye's couple, the wife expected a baby, and both decided to give her away, because they were afraid of the baby.

But huskies are very kind to children, so I understand their choice, but all children in the neighbourhood are playing with the huskies, even children, also from my Turkye's girlfriend, were very afraid in the beginning, but that is all gone now! They like to roll over the floor with all of them, and now, since the birth of the husky puppies, my room is to small, for all the visit, lol

This is Laika, she is my oldest girl, she is already 14 years old, sad enough, she is having cancer, so I know, that my son and I have slowly to accept, that one day, she is gonna leaving us.

At the Pow Wow

Here are some Pictures of Philip my son, at the Pow Wow, ones a year, in Januari in the Netherlands, for the first time I gould not visit, because of the birth of the husky puppies, well, maybe next year better.
I just love the photo, of Philip, together with Jakey Skye, the photo in the middle, Jakey is fluteplayer and grassdancer and lives in Arizona. Jakey was the first adult man, who gould came that close to Philip.
Because of Philip's past ( defected kidney's, a lot of times in hospitals) Philip became very scary of men, it reminded him, of all the doctors, Jakey was the first person, who was able to get a closer contact with Philip, therefor, they have a bond for livetime. Even they see eachother only ones a year, or ones in 2 years, it still is Philip his "long distance friend". Jakey's wife told me lateron, that this photo is hanging on the wall, in their livingroom in Arizona, 2 differend cultures, Native American/Native Moluccan (Indonesia) but more in common and connected!! That is the beauty and spirit!!
